KS1-KS4 Admission Arrangements
Red Marsh School offers places for pupils aged 2 – 19 with Special Educational Needs. Pupils have a wide range of needs including pupils with Moderate Learning difficulties (MLD), pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), pupils with Autism (ASD) and pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Throughout the school pupils have additional needs arising from sensory impairments and physical disabilities.
All pupils attending Red Marsh School must have an Education Health and Care Plan or a Statement of Special Educational Needs.
The school gives priority to pupils who live within the school’s catchment area.
As a local authority maintained special school, we are governed by the admission arrangements laid down by Lancashire County Council. For admissions information contact the local authority Special Educational Needs Department (SEND) on 01524 581142. We look forward to welcoming prospective parents and children to our very special school.
Parents/carers are welcome to visit school with or without a SEND Information Advice and Support Service Worker. Please ring the Special Needs Office if you require the support of a SEND Information Advice and Support Service Worker.
If places are available admissions, for any age group, can take place at any time throughout the year.
